Volunteers needed for Hull - Japan Tsunami Appeal

"Don't Give Up Japan, Don't Give Up Tohoku"©Independent

Three Japanese local residents in Hull and East Yorkshire, Seiko, Tomoko and Tsuneko, have set up a plan for a fundraising event in Hull University. We have done a first meeting last Saturday and this is
the summary of our discussion. (please follow a link for further details)

We are planning to do the event on 8th April 2011 (Friday) at Hull University, 1300 - 1700.
Date and details may be changed as we have not had a confirmation through venues, though we will update information as soon as we have a confirmation.

As we do not belong to a charity organisation, we are planning to work closely with British Red Cross - Japan Tsunami Appeal and all our donation will be passed to British Red Cross. They then eventually pass the donation to Japan Red Cross, as we understand.

If you are interested in donating money via British Red Cross directly please do so. We will be needing your help for those who suffered the disastorous damages from the earthquake and tsunami.

PLEASE: I would like to ask you readers. If you would like to join the event and volunteer some activities, please do let us know. At the time we only have three organisers and few friends to organise this event. We would like to have as many people as possible to help out our events so please do not hesitate to contact us.

Please contact Tsuneko if you are interested in the project :
tsunerofu@googlemail.com

Many thanks for your interests.
